Facilities and activities
We are delighted to offer an exciting range of activities and facilities to enhance the learning experience for the children. These include:
Garden and outside play area
The garden provides the children with opportunities for natural play including a sand pit and mud kitchen, large grassed area and mature trees to explore. We have fruit trees, a green house for the children to grow vegetables and flowers and a compost bin to encourage children to recycle. There is a canopy over our soft surface area which ensures all-weather outdoor play.
The pre-school is set on the edge of the village playing field providing access to a large open space and enclosed play area.
Cooking Sessions
Every Monday morning we run a cooking session. Each week the children make something different which we try to match with that week's theme or topic. At Christmas the children help prepare and cook a Christmas dinner which we all enjoy together!
The children really enjoy these sessions and they get to take home whatever they make. There is no extra charge for the cooking sessions.
Forest School
This is a weekly planned activity, run by a trained Forest School Leader, where the time is dedicated to exploring the natural environment.
During the session, the children explore natural resources, the weather and the creatures and animals in our local environment. This is a very popular session and takes place throughout the academic year.

There is no extra charge for this activity.
PE Sessions
We run weekly, structured PE lessons using the outside space available to us and the adjoining Village Hall.

These sessions include yoga, obstacle courses, team games and music & movement.
